- Festival of the first (FF) is an achievement-review of authors of different artistic curiosity.

- FF is taking place as an integral part of ZFF from October 7 till October 11 on the premises of The Student centre in Zagreb.

- FF is initiated with the purpose of animating young people.

- For participating in the FF artists register till July 31, 2003. Festival council makes the decision about the programme in the next seven days.

- The possibility to partake in the FF is open to all artists, no matter the age (the condition is that they are making their début in the category they are applying for) - fine arts artist who published his/her first book, film director as a choreographer, etc.

- Categories: theatre, performance, action, installation, literature, video, music…

- Artists who are taking part in another artist's work (an actor who is making a début in a play) can also participate in the FF.

- FF will take place out of doors and indoors of the Student centre, Savska Street 25, Zagreb.

- FF can be accessed via invitation and via applying for competition.

- FF council sends an invitation and selects among the received applications.

- In the FF, a €2000 public financial award is granted for all the categories.

- Magazine Libra libera appoints the FF's panel freely and according to their own choice. Panel consists of five members.

- FF decides upon the theme of the festival. The theme is obligatory for the participants of the festival.

- The theme of the first FF is ADVERTOCRACY.
